What is the 2019 Nissan Murano’s Towing Capacity?

When properly equipped, the 2019 Nissan Murano should have a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. The Murano will probably be powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 engine found under the hood of the 2018 model, so we expect the towing capacity will not change. The available Tow Hitch Receiver, Hitch Ball Mount, and High Ball will make towing smaller items a breeze.

What Other Nissan Models Can Tow?

The Nissan Rogue, Pathfinder, and Armada round out the Nissan crossover models that are capable of towing gear. Interested in a truck? The Frontier, Titan, and Titan XD are all capable of towing as well. When properly equipped, the Rogue offers a 1,100-pound towing capacity, while the Pathfinder offers 6,000 and the Armada provides 8,500 pounds of towing capacity. The lineup of Nissan trucks starts just below that last figure, with the Frontier offering 6,710 pounds of towing capacity, which grows to 9,740 pounds in the Titan and 12,640 pounds in the Titan XD.
Whatever you need to haul, there’s a Nissan for you!

Why Should I Choose the Murano?

If you’ve been looking for a roomy crossover that offers plenty of features, we think you’ll enjoy driving the Murano. Automatic Emergency Braking will be standard on every trim level, and other standard features will include Bluetooth capability, keyless entry, and a rearview camera.
The Murano will also once again offer the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite of safety features, including Intelligent Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Around View Monitor, and Forward Collision Warning.

A motion-activated liftgate makes it easy to pack your groceries or camping supplies, and you can get up to 70 cubic feet of cargo space with you fold down the 60/40 split rear seats. (It’s easy to do this thanks to the power controls located in the cargo space and driver’s seat.)
