2019 Nissan Titan Towing Power

Towing your gear isn’t just something you do on a whim. You need to be prepared and make sure your vehicle is properly equipped. If you’re going to be using your Titan to tow a trailer or boat this fall, you’ll want to choose the best fit for your hauling needs. Powertrain options for the 2019 model will remain unchanged from the previous year, so the Crew Cab and King Cab Titan configurations are capable of towing up to 9,400 pounds and the Single Cab model ups that figure to 9,740 pounds.

2019 Nissan Titan Payload

If you’re going to be using your Titan for heavy gear (ATV season, anyone?), you’ll appreciate the 1,610 pounds of payload. Go ahead and load it all up – the Titan can take it.

2019 Nissan Titan Towing Technology

Nissan Tow-Haul Mode gives you smoother shifting and more confidence on the road, and the RearView Monitor supplies drivers with guidelines to help you line up your hitch with your trailer on the first try. We’re personally big fans of the Intelligent Around View Monitor that gives you a bird’s-eye view of your Titan, and the Trailer Sway Control feature keeps you in line on the roadways, even with crosswinds or rough roads.

2019 Nissan Titan Safety

Even with a trailer or boat, you’ll be safe on the road thanks to a host of safety features that include Vehicle Dynamic Control to correct oversteer or understeer, Traction Control, Brake Assist, and more. For those of you with little ones, Nissan’s Snug Kids is an industry-first child safety seat guide that lists seats that fit correctly in the rear of your Titan, along with installation tips for maximum peace of mind.
